How to stop arguing..

Argue to convince, not to win.

If you disagree with someone:

Has this person already made up their mind?
If yes, don’t waste your time. If no, then try to convince them of your viewpoint.

To convince someone:

Listen to their viewpoint. Acknowledge their viewpoint. “I see what you’re saying.”Present points they may not have heard before.Find points you can agree on, then walk away.

-If they are rude and trolling, compliment them and walk away.

-You will never convince someone who has already made up their mind.
